Response to Intervention-The New Learning Disabilities Law in Florida Public Schools
The laws of psycho-educational
evaluations have changed for learning
disabilities as of July, 2010. The public school system no longer
accepts private psycho-educational evaluations using the discrepancy
theory as a comprehensive evaluation. BrainBuildersFL is beginning the
new initiative in a private setting. We provide thorough comprehensive
academic and
psychological evaluations to develop interventions in order for your
child to be more successful in school. We intervene or tutor based on
the results of the evaluation; therefore, we can provide the entire
method of Response to Intervention by a qualified school psychologist. It's a four-step model: we
identify the problem, analyze the problem, monitor and graph your
child's progress in a specific academic area, and determine the
effectiveness of the intervention.
We are available as soon as possible and we will work with your schedule! Gifted testing with a report and explanation can be done within a couple days! We come to your house for your convenience!Gifted Testing
The new WPPSI-IV is available for children under 6. Have your child tested for gifted before they enter Kindergarten!
